By creating an account or using Astro API, you agree to these terms. If you're using the API or embedded widgets on behalf of a company, you're agreeing on that company's behalf.

The service

We provide Vedic and Western astrology calculations, an AI chat astrologer, and a developer API, computed from the Swiss Ephemeris astronomical library. Free-tier tools and credits are provided as-is; paid plans and the AI chat are billed as described on your billing page and confirmed at checkout.

This is not professional advice

Astrology readings, chat replies, dosha/yoga interpretations, and remedies are offered for reflection, not as medical, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. Nothing here replaces a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or other licensed professional for anything concrete - we say so directly in the product wherever it's relevant.

What we will never do

We will never predict, guess, or discuss the gender of an unborn or future child, in any form. This is illegal to advise on in India under the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PCPNDT) Act, and our AI chat is built to refuse this absolutely, with no exceptions.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential and for activity under your account. Suspend or revoke an API key immediately from your dashboard if you believe it's been exposed. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently or to abuse the service (for example, automated abuse of free-tier credits).

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current billing period - see our Refund Policy for exceptions. Chat questions are billed per question from a prepaid balance or your active plan, shown before you ask.

The API and embedded widgets

API keys and widget keys are for your own use or your own customers' use as described at signup. Reselling raw access to our API under a different brand, without a commercial agreement with us, isn't permitted. Rate limits and credit costs are enforced per your plan and may change with notice.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Astro API after an update means you accept the revised terms.
