Terms of Service

1. What ParcelMove is
ParcelMove is a marketplace that connects people who want to send a parcel ("senders") with people already travelling that route ("travellers") who are willing to carry it. ParcelMove is not a courier company — we don't employ the travellers on the platform, and we don't handle, store, or transport any parcel ourselves. Each sender and traveller enters into their own arrangement, on the terms set out here.
2. Eligibility & verification
You must be at least 18 years old and complete identity verification (KYC) before sending or carrying a parcel. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Prohibited items
You may never send, or agree to carry, anything illegal, hazardous, or otherwise restricted — including but not limited to weapons, explosives, illegal drugs or substances, live animals, cash or bullion, and counterfeit goods. Every booking requires an explicit declaration that the parcel contains no prohibited items; a false declaration is a serious violation of these terms and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
4. Bookings & payments
Prices are calculated from the trip's distance and the parcel's size at the time of booking. For online payments, funds are held until the delivery is confirmed with the delivery code, then released to the traveller. Platform fees are non-refundable once a booking is accepted, except as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
5. Conduct
Be honest about what you're sending and when you're travelling. Treat the other party respectfully. Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or abusive behaviour can result in a lower trust score, a suspended account, or removal from the platform.
6. Liability
ParcelMove facilitates the connection between sender and traveller but is not a party to the actual carriage of any parcel. To the extent permitted by law, ParcelMove is not liable for loss, damage, or delay to a parcel carried under an arrangement made through the platform. Ratings, verification, and the delivery-confirmation code exist to make that arrangement more trustworthy — they don't make ParcelMove the carrier.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continuing to use ParcelMove after an update means you accept the revised terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
